Foxglove Botanical Tile

10am–1pm

You will learn the techniques to create and cast an elongated botanical tile with the focus on foxgloves and hedgerow grasses. Pressing flowers and foliage to create your unique design. I provide all the materials, just bring yourself and an apron. The tile dries quickly and can be taken home at the end of the session. Cost £45 Crafts

Summer Soy Candle Making Workshop

Join Becky, founder of Hazel & Blue for a beginners soy candle making workshop where you will be gifted, step-by-step, through the candle-making process before making your own. Find your signature scent from a selction of nature-inspired fragrance oils and create your own bespoke candle label. A perfect introduction to candle-making and a chance to make your own unique soy candle, created from simple, honest ingrediants using natural elements to help you to make your own candle. £35 per person to include tea, coffee on arrival, a 90 minute workshop and of course your own soy candle creation to take home. Suggested ages 16 and up, all abilities welcome.

Simple armature techniques Looking at why and when to use an armature, wire vs pipecleaners, how to wrap wool, the suitability of different wools for different sculptures. This is a technique-based workshop that will give you a range of samples for future reference rather than a finished make.

Fused glass workshops run throughout the year. Alex from Compton's Glass Workshop teaches all ages and ability. The workshops are friendly and relaxed. Your glass work is fired in a kiln and ready for collection one week later.

A vierity of fun art and craft activities for 7 to 11 year olds. We will organise projects with different materials and techniques including, paint, papier mache, printing, cardmaking, wool, pompoms, fabric, macrame, fossil making, etc. The emphasis is to have fun whilst using and learning new skills.
