Willow Weaving for Beginners
10am-12noon
Learn how to make a traditional tension tray. These are a great introduction to willow weaving, where the tension placed by the willow rods holds the tray together. Your finished piece can have many functions – as a bread server, fruit platter, flower display base, or as a traditional piece to decorate your wall. Each participant will create one tension tray at least to take home. All materials, plus tea and biscuits provided. Suitable for beginners, adults 18 or over.
