Learn how to make your own knickers with a small group taught by Yelena from Sew Projects. In this class you will learn how to make a woven or rigid pair of knickers. You will cut out your fabric using a Sew Projects beginner knicker pattern and then learn how to sew your knickers up with a sewing machine. At the end of the workshop you will have a completed pair of knickers in your size that you can take home and wear! The workshop is suitable for all levels, however you will have to know how to use a sewing machine. Please bring your own sewing machine if you have one but if not there are some available to use at the Gallery. All materials are included in the price, however you may bring your own fabric if you wish! You will need to bring a small sewing kit. An information pack will be sent to you via email after purchase.

Beginners Knicker Making Workshop

Perfect project for beginners, create your own beautiful poppy field in the form of a free standing glass curve. You will learn how to use glass sprinkles and fine rods of glass to create this mini masterpiece! The glass will be fused, shaped and ready for collection a week later. Fused Glass Poppy Field

Come along and create a beautiful fused 3D glass flower that will be mounted onto a steel rod ready to adorn your garden. Suitable for any skill level. You will be taught to cut glass and how to arrange in a flower form. You will have a choice of beautiful colours that you will use to create your masterpiece. The finished flower measures roughly 25cm across on a meter long, 5mm thick steel rod. The glass is fused in the kiln, mounted on the rod and ready for collection a week later. All materials and tools provided. Cake is on offer at the end of the class...once we have tidied up!! Booking is essential. Important - Covered legs and no open toe shoes for the workshop please!

Ever wanted to have a go at making? This particular pottery workshop will be focusing on making a selection of Christmas decorations. Suitable for beginners as well as anyone who has experience working with clay. You will be encouraged to get creative and use your imagination, to create handmade, unique pieces in your own style. A variety of tools and materials will be provided for creating textures, but feel free to bring along any particular textures that you would like to imprint into the clay or ribbon to hang your decorations with. The price includes clay, glaze, kiln firing, 6 decorations along with your choice of festive ribbons. Tea, coffee and cake provided. Finished pieces will be available for collection within 2 weeks after the session. Bring an apron if you have one!

Held at The Court Street Gallery, Trowbridge we will have 2 hours of getting creative and print making with colourful designs and glitter. This will be a relaxed and enjoyable workshop for an adult and child to do together. The cost of this workshop Is £20 and this includes cost of all materials, tea and coffee for the adults and the item of clothing which will be pressed and wrapped for you to take away on the day.
