Gelli Plate Monoprint

Learn how to Monoprint using a Gelli Plate, botanicals, stencils and other items.
You will get to try acrylic paint and printers inks (all products are water based) and will be able to take all your prints home with you, as well as printing on a 6”x6” wooden block.

No art background needed, just a willingness to jump in and have fun.
All abilities and ages (from about 8 years) welcome.
The class will last approximately 2 hours and is £30 including all materials.

This is a two part class during which you will create beautiful printed photostencil designs working from your own original artwork. We will use the first session to design and create artwork for a positive stencil. You will then coat and expose your image and produce a few practice print.

During part two you will use the entire session to explore printing your image onto a variety of surfaces and backgrounds.

Fused Glass Cat Workshop

In this workshop you will learn how to cut the glass and construct a bright and colourful feline form. The finished fused glass creation will stand 30cm tall with a fixed base to make it free standing.

You will have a wide choice of colours.

7 Strand beaded Kumihimo Bracelet

Come and learn a new braiding structure that is perfect for different shaped beads. Based on English Straw Plaiting, you will learn how to load and braid using just 7 Strands compared to the previous classes of 8 Strand Round braiding. There will be 2 different kits to choose from. Also for those who already know this braid, I will also be teaching a variation, Reverse 7 Strand, that gives a very different texture and makes for a very interesting necklace.

The world in a point of light

Take a photo with your own pinhole camera! Combine art and science by making your own camera from a recycled cylindrical container and take fun, creative and unusual photos. Learn to use the camera and develop black and white photos on photographic paper using traditional wet darkroom processes. Everything provided including tea, coffee and cake.

All ages welcome but children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Large Fused Glass Bowl

You will cut glass to create this statement piece of glass art! You can choose your own colour combination to perfectly suit your home decor. The large bowl measures roughly 30cm across. You can choose your final look with either a shallow or deep bowl mold.

Acrylic Painting Harvest Mouse

Join me for a wonderful day painting  a Harvest mouse on flowers or berries using Acrylic Inks and Watercolours, which will be provided. Or you can use your own chosen medium if you prefer. I will guide you step by step through the process of painting, all abilities are catered for.

Perfect project for beginners, create your own beautiful poppy field in the form of a free standing glass curve.

You will learn how to use glass sprinkles and fine rods of glass to create this mini masterpiece!

Trio of Flowers

Create a set of 3 mini fused glass tiles to be mounted and framed. Choose from Snowdrops, Bluebells, Buttercups, Dandelions and Daisies, Forget-me-nots, Poppies and Pansies.

We will make three 6cm x 8cm tiles with coloured glass. You will learn how to cut the glass and construct the image.

You will also make a cute glass ladybird to sit on each of your floral creations!
